Too Lost Office Hours with The Digilogue’s Drew De Leon

There was a great discussion live on YouTube today about the importance of building a community as an independent artist.

What exactly is community building?

According to Rolling Stone, community building is creating a space where people feel connected, engaged and part of something bigger than themselves. It’s a powerful tool that works because it taps into our inherent need to belong and share experiences.

As a music artist, this strategy is very important in this time of streaming thresholds, artificial content, social media fatigue and music takedowns.

Here is a discussion Too Lost had today with The Digilogue’s Drew De Leon on YouTube. I even joined in to ask a question about getting your fans off of social media.

If you have never heard of The Digilogue, check them out. They are a very dope independent artist community that you should definitely check out. They have a ton of resources and networking events for artists, including meetups, discovery calls and a job board for aspiring music industry professionals.
