There was a great discussion live on YouTube today about the importance of building a community as an independent artist.

According to Rolling Stone, community building is creating a space where people feel connected, engaged and part of something bigger than themselves. It’s a powerful tool that works because it taps into our inherent need to belong and share experiences.

As a music artist, this strategy is very important in this time of streaming thresholds, artificial content, social media fatigue and music takedowns.
